Three days is just not enough time in New York City. My last trip to NYC was a measly 22 hours, so at least I tripled my time in the big city. It was a lovely three-day weekend of food, shopping and Broadway with the best friend.
What I Wore: Lane Bryant maxi dress, Ann Taylor neon bling necklace, Swarovski Puzzle clear crystal earrings $55, Sofft heels (similar here), and Michael Kors clutch purse with chain shoulder strap (similar here).
Friday night, we had the most delicious Northern Italian meal at Giovanni VentiCinque on the upper east side. (Thank you Mark Evans for the recommendation!) The truffle ravioli was insane. On Saturday, we hit boutiques on 5th and Madison, had dinner at Sardi’s, and headed to the Belasco Theatre to see End of the Rainbow. The play follows Judy Garland during the last few months of her life, but no depression worries here. The play was quick-witted, funny, brutally honest, and energetic. Tracie Bennett is a powerhouse actress and singer as she embodies Judy Garland. I definitely recommend End of the Rainbow. Thumbs up!
Here are a few of the shiny objects we visited at the boutiques.
I hope you enjoyed my very first outfit post. Drink in all of the weird lighting and slightly fuzzy photo textures courtesy of my iPhone. I’m much less fuzzy in person.
